Those with few options in life either turn to crime or the blade, and Tadaoki was no exception becoming a sword-for-hire. There is usually only one way out of the life of a mercenary, and that is death, not so for Tadaoki. He's lived to a decent age, which is more than can be said for most. His reputation and skill-at-arms proceed him, and his blade is much sought after.
Displaying the new “Mercenary” mechanic, Tadaoki is a great addition to any Warband who can afford him, and Iaijutsu is an excellent counter to all manner of enemy threats. If you "pay him a little extra" by using his Leech Trait, he will gain Bravery, which is invaluable when you need it.
