Penannagalin
A Penannagalin is a parasitic monster that enslaves its host forcing it to commit hideous atriocities in the name of the Cult of Yurei while draining its blood to feed itself. With a trained eye you can spot the jerky movements of the poor host but most have never come across a Penannagalin and by the time they are close enough for the vacant stare to be obvious it is too late and the hapless sould becomes the creature's next victim.
