These undead fiends once believed themselves to be regal nobles and still expect to be treated with the respect that level in society brings. But in reality, they are loathsome crazed cannibals. Rotten blood-stained skin is stretched across dead flesh and organs, and the bones of deformed skeletons protrude from these corrupted monsters. Others have taken on more animalistic features and appear like towering man-sized bat creatures. They regularly hunt together in their courts targeting the living like animals to sate their bloodlust. Many flee in horror, but those unlucky or too slow have their blood sucked dry and their flesh is torn apart and consumed. Those who are not devoured are themselves turned into these undead horrors and ghouls and become part of the pack.
Morbheg Knights clad in bone and filth raise sigils woven from entrails, their banners snapping in the fetid wind. Atop nightshriekers, their mounts' ear-piercing shrieks chilling the air, spur the rank and file forward.
