Flames of War is a miniature wargame set in World War II. Players control armies of tanks, infantry, and artillery, battling for supremacy on the battlefield.
The compact 70mm Type 92 infantry gun, much like a mortar, was used to provide immediate support to the Naval Landing forces during their operations ashore. It was light and easily kept pace with the advancing naval infantry and was small enough it could be moved and deployed in the rough terrain of the Pacific islands.
